This spring we will be operating the first program for our organization at Westlake Middle School in Oakland. More information to come, we will keep everyone informed on our progress through the website. The goal is to take our collective knowledge and positively impact lives through wrestling in the greater Bay Area.
BTS Bay Area Working with Castlemont High in Oakland
BTS Bay Area steering committee member Kevin Dunn working with Castlemont High School in Oakland.
Kevin Dunn, BTS Bay Area Steering Committee Member, has been supporting Castlemont Coach Marcus Leon with Castlemont Wrestling and their team captain Denzel Mabry. Coach Leon has a passion for wrestling and has worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for students in wrestling, like Denzel. Kevin was able to recently include Denzel on a trip to Sacramento to work out with Team Alpha Male and receive mentorship from athletes like Urijah Faber, Cody Garbrandt, and Olympian Quincey Clark.
Kevin has also attending Castlemont practices this season with Olympian’s Quincey Clark and Lee Kemp.
We want to thank Castlemont coaches Marcus and Freddy for opening their room to BTS Bay Area and the wrestling community.
